How to Care for Your North

North is crafted with pure essential oils and rose water — ingredients that are sensitive to light, heat, and air. A little care goes a long way in preserving her potency and freshness.

Store North:

  • Away from direct sunlight

  • In a cool, dry place — not in a steamy bathroom cabinet

  • Upright with the spray nozzle secured

  • Away from extreme heat — don't leave her in a hot car for extended periods

The amber glass bottle is designed to protect the oils from UV degradation — but she'll thank you for keeping her out of direct light anyway.

Shelf life: North is best used within 12 months of opening. Because she contains no synthetic preservatives the botanicals are at their most potent and fresh in the first year. You'll likely use her long before then.

Shake Well

North does not contain an emulsifyer. Always shake it before each use. The essential oils and rose water are natural ingredients and do not blend on their own. A gentle shake reunites them beautifully before every spritz.

Safe Use

On skin: North is gentle enough for skin use and beloved as a body mist. Spray on wrists, neck, chest, or anywhere you'd apply a fragrance. Avoid direct contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If you have sensitive skin we recommend a patch test on a small area before broader use.

In your space: North is safe for use on linens, soft furnishings, in the air, and in your shower steam. She contains no harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrance, or alcohol that could damage fabrics or surfaces.

For families with children: North is formulated with pure essential oils in a gentle rose water base and is free from synthetic chemicals, alcohol, and harsh additives. Many customers use North in homes with children without issue. As with any essential oil product we recommend using in well-ventilated spaces and keeping out of reach of little ones. If you have specific concerns we always recommend consulting with your healthcare provider.
